I am a dedicated storyteller who believes there is more than one way to share a story. Whether it’s writing, photography, videography, or podcasting, I want to tell it in every way that I can. The current digital age has proven that short-form video content is the future and the quickest way to disseminate newsworthy topics, as well as a way to represent marginalized communities and underreported topics.
Narrative Approach
I pursue stories that center lived experiences that defy stereotypes we are used to in the media. Finding angles that offer historical and anecdotal context helps deliver someone’s story more authentically. The communities I cover are important to me even if I don’t identify with the cultures. Food is a window into the soul, and writing about food can help show readers the humanity in everyone, which is something society needs right now. I hope to bridge communities through my reporting and whatever multimedia forms I choose.
